I had a perfectly pleasant trip and would return anytime. This hotel was nicely appointed and everything was perfect. The location was unbeatable, short walk to the bars and restaurants as well as which is at the western end of Rua da Santa Maria. There was Gaviao Novo right by the property.

Small hotel in an amazing area just off the old town area, and Funchal's Zona Velha. Extra care from the exceptionally nice and pretty friendly staff. Warm and fine breakfasts with fresh rolls, jam, cheese. Absolutely perfect and excellent location to Marina do Funchal. Fairly nice stay during our visit, nothing to complain about.

Charming hotel, sensational breakfast and free Wi-Fi. Exceptionally comfortable bed in the twin room, plus a small fridge, a couch, and a closet space. Particularly good bathroom with a jacuzzi; wonderful staff.

I booked it many times and strongly recommend. Clean and pleasant place and the breakfast was adequate. The staff was nice plus the location was great.

The location was excellent and stunning, relatively close to Municipal Garden of Funchal. Its twin room was new-fashioned with spa bath. The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating and kept the place clean.

Wonderful small hotel in marvellous location in the city centre. Wonderful staff with knowledge of the place. Lots of food for breakfast including coffee and tea. Excellent services, the public parking was available nearby. Fantastic experience there.

It has perfect location to see Rua de Santa Maria Street. It offers exceptional services.

The hotel is a little gem in a great location at the heart of Old Town Funchal. Amidst the restaurants and bars, it still manages to be relatively tranquil, with spacious, clean rooms. Our second visit and we will saty again.

The breakfast is just about adequate, no hot food and quantities bit lacking if you are towards the end of breakfast time.

Excellent central and quiet location, huge rooms and bathrooms, use of Internet at any time. A little conservative and possibly dated but all the more charming for that.

There wasn't anything not to like, but the hotel could: update the bathrooms, i.e the shower, provide more international TV and a more varied breakfast.

Excellent service, nice hot and adequate breakfast with standard sliced cheese, yoghurt, ham. Marvellous location, within a close distance from Marina do Funchal. Convenient access to a restaurant and restaurants. Located in a lovely area, easy walk to a cable car station.

I recently stayed at Residencial Mariazinha in Funchal for a week-long vacation. The hotel's central location made it incredibly convenient for exploring all the attractions and shops in the area. The staff, especially Carolina, were incredibly sweet and patient with all our needs. Our room, with its large windows overlooking the old town, was both cozy and spacious. But what really stood out to me was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the hotel's tasteful use of warm colors in the guest rooms and common spaces. a truly delightful stay.

Very helpful and enthusiastic staff. Unable to fault the location: right on a central street in Old Town but still quiet!. Room and bathroom clean.

Breakfast was average, but there were freshly baked rolls from the bakery downstairs daily. The room smelt slightly musty on arrival- solved by opening window.

It offers excellant service. The breakfast is adequate, the room is well furnished and brand-new with nice and clean bathroom.
